ACCESS TO GOOD JOBS

Good jobs pay people a living wage. This allows them to buy basic needs such as housing, food, and healthcare. Around 25% of adult workers get paid poverty-level or close to poverty-level wages. Good jobs also give people purpose because they contribute to their communities. There are many obstacles to accessing good jobs. These include transportation issues and lack of jobs that pay a living wage. These policies would increase the number of good jobs available to people in the United States.
